He is the first German ever to qualify for the elite ASP World Tour. And if you are one of the many fans of Marlon Lipke, you can now vote for “The Hulk” to participate in an All Star Event during the Hurley US Open of Surfing this July. Marlon Lipke, a former European Champion, could be one of six World Tour surfers to join World Champions Kelly Slater, Mick Fanning, C.J. Hobgood and Andy Irons if you log on to www.worldprosurfers.com/vote/ and vote for him.

You’ve seen it in other sports. The slam-dunk contest, the home run derby… Whatever the discipline, it’s a chance for your voice to be heard. At this year’s Hurley US Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach, 10 of the world’s best surfers including four World Champions Kelly Slater, Mick Fanning, C.J. Hobgood and Andy Irons plus six others surfers – voted on by you – will attend the event and participate in all the All-Star related activities: a special recognition ceremony; an autograph session; a golf tournament. And, best of all, a PWC-enhanced Expression Session on the 25/26th of July where your favorite surfers will defy the imagination on the South Side of the HB Pier.
